BFFHeroes is about five cats who go on missions to save others, even if they don’t realize it. They are best friends forever, as the name suggests.

Their REAL journeys begin when Annie is hit by a bus and disappears while Mikayla is carrying her. Then they find a hole in the ground, which most of them suspect is for construction or something. But Adison doesn’t want to take any chances for her sister, so she carelessly jumps in. She realizes that she has turned into some bear-type creature, but strangely enough it looks like a costume. She calls to the 3 others, who finally decide to come down. But then Mikayla disappears suddenley as well. Will Kristy, Tina, and Adison ever be reunited with Mikayla and Annie? Annie is Adison's sisiter. She is usually the quiet one who is always getting into trouble.

Mikayla is the one who is always very cheery. She also likes to think things through before she does them, unlike Adison.

Usually, but not always, wherever there's a Mikayla, there's a Kristy. Kristy always tries to make it seem like everything is so obvious, even though typically it isn't.

Adison is Annie's sister. As mentioned, Adison always does crazy (and at times dangeroes) things before thinking if it's a good idea or not, but she rarely gets hurt doing them.

Tina doesn't come into the comic until later, when Annie and Adison find a note at their door saying that Tina was a new girl in their neighborhood. She is the only one who usually wears a bandana on her head.
