Super Mikey and Super Izzy

Super Mikey and Super Izzy is a comic based on my kitties, Mikey and Izzy.

They start out as just regular indoor-only kittens living in my house.  But one day they come back from the vet, and decide that their toys are just too boring, and that they need to find some new REAL toys.  They fall in love with… the ceiling fan!    They try jumping up, and they fall each time.  But then Izzy has an idea to use string and climb up.  Her plan works!

Although, after a few minutes, it gets boring up there.  I then come in and open the window.  Mikey and Izzy are excited.  But just then, it’s time to clip their nails.  “Oh no!  We need sharp claws to tear through the window screen!”, Mikey exclaims in a language that only animals can understand.  Izzy tells him to run, and they hide under a shelf.  After I leave the room,  they hop up on the windowsill and start clawing and chewing away, until finally they make a hole big enough to jump through.

They make it outside!!  They start running around and playing, when they run into these magic buttons.  They push a few.  It puts different outfits on them, but they don’t like any of them.  When Mikey pushes the last button, the whole thing blows up with a big ‘BOOM!!’, leaving dust and dirt flying everywhere, and Mikey and Izzy realize they are wearing capes, not knowing that the capes contain amazing superpowers.

Izzy finds some magic berries that when eaten, every item (exept food and living things) that you were wishing for at that moment becomes real.  They wish for these box cars, which they can drive.

They drive so far that suddenly they end up in The Land of Cats and Dogs.  It starts to get very windy, almost like a small hurricane.  ‘BOOM!’ ‘BANG!’  It seems there is some fighting going on.  The king takes Mikey and Izzy, now Super Mikey and Super Izzy, up a tall mountain.  But Mikey then slips, and is hanging off the edge.  Izzy can’t think of a way to help quick enough, when Mikey falls all the way off.  “Mikey…”, Izzy sobs, “Mikey…”

You must be wishing to know what happens next.  But you’ll have to wait a little before I post that.
